Day One (Broome to Pardoo Roadhouse)
We meet up at midday before arriving at the stunning Cable Beach for a picnic lunch right on the beach. Then back on the bus we head for 80 Mile Beach, an endless stretch of white sand famous for fishing, beautiful shells and magnificent sunsets! We then head for Pardoo Roadhouse for some true blue hospitality in the outback and check in to our large comfortable tents for a night of camping under millions of stars.
Day Two - Three (Pardoo Road House to Karijini National Park)
This morning we’re up early and head for the mining town of Port Hedland before we drive straight through the outback to the amazing Karijini National Park. The next two days give us plenty of time to explore Karijini National Park and its 2.5 billion years of evolution and 40.000 years of culture. We visit and hike all the gorges, swim in amazing rock pools, stand under stunning waterfalls and intriguing rock formations including Hancock Gorge, Weano Gorge and its adventurous Handrail Pool and heaps more. We stay at the multi award winning Karijini Eco Retreat in large deluxe Eco Safari Tents with your own verandah, quality beds, linen and hot showers!
Day Four (Karijini National Park to Exmouth)
Get up early for some amazing photos of the sunrise in Karijini before we head over to the highest town in Western Australia, Tom Price. Here we have lunch surrounded by one of the largest iron ore mines in the world. Then we’re back on the bus for a beautiful drive through the mountain ranges and red rocks of the Pilbara before we arrive at our accommodation in Exmouth, the gateway to the largest fringing reef in the world, The Ningaloo Reef.
Day 5
Day Five (Exmouth to Coral Bay)
Today is yours to join any of the optional activities available or enjoy a fully guided tour of Cape Range National Park, a spectacular place of rugged limestone ranges, breathtaking deep canyons and 50km of pristine beaches. Experience guided snorkeling trips including the stunning Turquoise Bay, Vlamingh Head Lighthouse and lookout, Milyearing Visitor Centre and more. Then this evening we take the short drive down the peninsula to our accommodation in Coral Bay.
Day 6
Day Six (Coral Bay)
Today enjoy free time to experience the many great tours and activities Coral Bay has to offer, with special discounts available as an Aussie Wanderer passenger! Go for a stroll on the beach and check out the shark nursery, swim with the manta rays, hang out at the local or go for a snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef only meters from shore. Don’t miss the stunning sunset in Coral Bay before you wander back to your accommodation, more relaxed than ever.
Day 7
Day Seven (Coral Bay to Shark Bay - Monkey Mia)
Back on the bus this morning we head towards the World Heritage Sited Shark Bay area and stop in the plantation town of Carnarvon. We visit the breathing rock formations ‘Stromatolites’ and drop in at the famous Shell Beach for some awesome photos. We then check in our resort accommodation in Monkey Mia where we enjoy an award winning Aboriginal Cultural Tour (included).
Day 8
Day Eight (Shark Bay to Horrocks)
This morning we’re up early to meet the dolphins and get some amazing photos! Then join any of the optional activities or just chill on the beach before we head to Ocean Park, a marine zoo with giant tanks housing local fish species, turtles and of course, sharks! We’re then back on the bus and travel down the North West Coastal Highway to Kalbarri National Park. Here we visit the majestic coastal cliffs and head to the town of Horrocks for a relaxing dinner overlooking the ocean.
Day 9
Day Nine (Horrocks to Perth)
Wake up to the sound of breaking waves before we continue our journey south. We drive along the Batavia Coastline and through the town of Geraldton before we stop at the amazing Pinnacles Desert. Here we enjoy a fully guided tour through this intriguing landscape and drop in at the Discovery Centre. Then it’s on to the Lancelin sand dunes. Experience the unique sport of sandboarding on these massive hills, a great way to finish the day. Then kick back and relax on the bus for the last stretch to the most sunny and isolated capital in the world, Perth.

This tour includes hikes up to 8 kms per day and is recommended for active travelers who want to experience the wild nature of Western Australia.If you enjoy hiking through gorges and swimming through waterfalls, this tour is for you. Extreme temperatures can be experienced while travelling in the outback (very hot in summer and very cold in winter). Please bring a small day pack for use when hiking and a pair of hiking boots is recommended.
