Day One (Perth to Horrocks Beach)
Our first stop today is the amazing Lancelin sand dunes to experience the unique sport of sandboarding, a great way to start the day! Then it’s back on the bus for a drive up the coast to the Pinnacles Desert. Here we enjoy a fully guided tour through this intriguing landscape and drop in at the Discovery Centre. Then after a sightseeing stop in Geraldton it’s on to Beach House for sunset and dinner overlooking the ocean.
Day Two (Northampton to Shark Bay - Monkey Mia)
A short drive this morning to the amazing coastal cliffs and gorges of Pot Alley before we stop in Kalbarri for morning tea. Next are the marvels of The Murchison Gorge, Natures Window and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park. Here you have the option to try abseiling. After lunch we continue north to Shell Beach and on to the Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort. This evening we enjoy an award winning Aboriginal Cultural Tour (included).
Day Three (Shark Bay to Coral Bay)
This morning meet the Monkey Mia Dolphins and get some amazing photos. Then join any of the optional activities available or just chill out on the beach or at the resort before we head to the breathing rock formations ‘Stromatolites’. Then we head north to our accommodation in Coral Bay.
Day Four (Coral Bay)
Today enjoy free time to experience the many great tours and activities Coral Bay has to offer, with special discounts available as an Aussie Wanderer passenger! Go for a stroll on the beach and check out the shark nursery, swim with the manta rays, hang out at the local or go for a snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef only meters from shore. This evening we take the short drive up the peninsular to our accommodation in Exmouth.
Day Five (Exmouth) Today is yours to join any of the optional activities available or enjoy a fully guided tour of Cape Range National park, a spectacular place of rugged limestone ranges, breathtaking deep canyons and 50km of pristine beaches. Experience guided snorkeling trips including the stunning Turquoise Bay, Vlamingh Head Lighthouse and lookout, Milyearing Visitors Centre and more.
Day Six (Exmouth to Karijini National Park) Up early we travel east through station country and stop at Tom Price, the highest town in Western Australia. Here we get our supplies before we head to the amazing Karijini National Park. We stay at the multi award winning Karijini Eco Retreat in deluxe Safari Eco Tents with your own verandah, quality beds, linen and hot showers!
Days Seven - Eight (Karijini National Park) The next 2 days give us plenty of time to explore Karijini National Park. We visit and hike all the gorges, swim in amazing rock pools, stand under waterfalls and explore intriguing rock formations including Hancock Gorge, Weano Gorge and its adventurous Handrail Pool, Dales Gorge, Circular Pool, Fortescue Falls, Fern Pool and more. Then late on the second day we travel further north to Pardoo Roadhouse and check in our large comfortable tents for a night of camping under million of stars.
Day Nine (Pardoo Road House to Broome) This morning sees us arrive at the stunning 80 Mile Beach before the final leg to Broome. We arrive in Broome in time for the Crocodile feeding at the famous Malcolm Douglas Wilderness Wildlife Park (optional). Then we finish the day with a tour around town before we check in at our accommodation, The Kimberly Klub. One way passengers, your journey finishes this evening (accommodation and dinner not included for one way passengers).
Day Ten - Eleven (Broome) The next two days enjoy free time and all that Broome has to offer! Go for a swim at the stunning Cable Beach, explore China Town and its pearling history, watch a movie at the world’s oldest open air cinema or ride a camel on the beach with sunset! Ask your tour guide for any assistance with booking tours. Then check out the cultural variety of eating venues for your lunches and dinners or cook your own at the hostel. We still provide breakfast!
Days 12 - 13 - 14 (Broome to Perth) The express three day journey back to Perth travels along our stunning coastline. Stay at caravan parks with full facilities and in the coastal town of Horrocks for a relaxing dinner overlooking the ocean. Learn more interesting stuff about WA from your tour guide and experience true blue Aussie hospitality in the outback. Be amazed by million star nights before we arrive in the most remote and sunniest capital in the world, Perth.
Attention This tour includes hikes up to 8 kms per day and is recommended for active travelers who want to experience the wild nature of Western Australia. If you enjoy hiking through gorges and swimming through waterfalls, this tour is for you. Extreme temperatures can be experienced while travelling in the outback (very hot in summer and very cold in winter). Please bring a small day pack for use when hiking and a pair of hiking boots is recommended.
