Experience 9 huge days of adventure, hiking, wildlife interaction, Aboriginal culture, cool hostels, amazing scenery and a lot more with Aussie Wanderers 'West Coast Odyssey' Broome to Perth Adventure!After a picnic lunch at Cable Beach we head to the stunning 80 Mile Beach and Pardoo Roadhouse to check into our large comfortable tents for a night of camping under millions of stars. The next day we head for the mining town of Port Hedland and travel straight through the outback to the amazing Karijini National Park. The next two days we explore and hike all the gorges, swim in amazing rock pools, stand under waterfalls and see intriguing rock formations. We stay at the multi award winning Karijini Eco Retreat in large deluxe Eco Safari Tents!
On day three we head to the highest town in Western Australia, Tom Price. Then we’re on for a beautiful drive through mountain ranges and red rock formations in the Pilbara before we arrive in Exmouth, gateway to the Ningaloo Reef! Day five is yours to join any of the optional activities available or enjoy a fully guided tour of Cape Range National Park. Experience guided snorkeling trips including Turquoise Bay. Then this evening we take the short drive down the peninsula to Coral Bay.
On day six enjoy free time to experience the many great tours and activities Coral Bay has to offer, with special discounts available as an Aussie Wanderer passenger! Day seven we travel to the World Heritage Site of Shark Bay and stop in the plantation town Carnarvon. We visit the breathing rock formations ‘Stromatolites’, stop at Shell Beach and check in our beach resort accommodation in Monkey Mia. This evening we enjoy an award winning Aboriginal Cultural Tour!
Day eight we meet and feed the famous Monkey Mia dolphins and join any of the optional activities or just chill on the beach before we head to Ocean Park, a marine zoo with giant tanks housing local fish species, turtles and ofcourse, sharks! We then travel to Kalbarri National Park and stop at Hawks Head & Ross Graham look out. We visit the majestic coastal cliffs in Kalbarri before we head to Horrocks for a relaxing dinner overlooking the ocean.
On the last day we drive through the town of Geraldton and stop at the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. Here we enjoy a fully guided tour and visit the Discovery Centre. Then it’s on to the Lancelin sand dunes to experience the unique sport of sandboarding before we kick back and relax on the bus for the last stretch to Perth.
